Our Web Design Start-Up Guide

Don’t have a Website?  From start to finish, we will handle all of the details so you won’t have to!  The following Web Design Start-Up Guide outlines the various steps in sequence, from beginning to the final launch of your website so you can get a feel for the entire web design process!

	FREE Web Design Quote Submit the Web Design Quote Request Form and we will promptly email you an estimate of the total costs of your website design project!
	Web Design Setup Complete the Web Design contract with 50% deposit in order to commence the design process.  We accept payment by check, electronic check, and all major credit cards (through PayPal.)  You will then receive a detailed form and begin open dialogue directly with our St. Paul Web Designer.  We discuss key topics including your preferred Minneapolis web design style, other sites you like or dislike, target market, services and products offered, business strategy, and primary competitors.
	Domain Registration & Web Hosting We address the setup of your Domain Name and Web Hosting plan, both required elements for a functioning  website.  We can register a new domain name for you, or use one you have already registered.  Additionally, we offer web hosting plans that are reliable, affordable, and full of features such as free email and 24/7 support.
	St. Paul Website Design & Development We begin the development of your website by adding your page content, images, forms, and navigation structure to the approved design layout and theme from our Minneapolis Web Designer.  We will communicate with you during the web design process until we receive your final approval of the completed site ready for publishing.  We build your site in a "draft" directory that you will be able to view and monitor online during the entire development process.
	Publishing, Testing, and Validation This is the step where your website comes to life and is active on the internet for all to see.  Upon final payment for the remaining project balance, we publish your website to your web host server and run the site through various tests to ensure it looks and functions properly on various browsers.  We also validate the code for compliance to the current world wide web standards.
	(Optional) Search Engine Optimization (SEO) If you choose our optional but highly recommended SEO service, we will take the necessary steps to ensure your website ranks high for your primary keywords in the major search engines.  Meta tag generation, links, sitemaps, and directory listings are part of this crucial marketing process.  Additionally, our SEO Maintenance plan allows for us to monitor your keyword performance and website traffic on an ongoing basis and make necessary updates.  More about SEO.
	(Optional) Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising This optional service entails setting up and managing your Google Adwords account in order to begin the PPC process.  We identify the keywords and geographical regions that you would like to market to, set bid limits and daily budgets, and establish campaign ads that run in the Sponsored Listing section in Google.  More about PPC.
	(Optional) St. Paul Website Maintenance This service allows us to make periodic updates to your website in order to keep your site current.  Adding a service, changing a staff profile, or posting new photos are all examples of typical website maintenance.  More about Website Maintenance.
